How to Solve the Issues Using Coollang Smart Sensors and Apps?
Here are the solutions for the issues when you use Coollang smart sensors and apps.
Bluetooth was not found.
(1.) Check if the sensor is connected to other devices.
(2.) Exit the app and search again.
(3.) Download lightblue to see if there is Bluetooth signal. If you are not sure the hardware has been damaged, you can ask for after-sales service.
Bluetooth is disconnected.
(1.) Exit the app and reconnect.
(2.) Replace the phone，then connect sensor to the new phone to make a test.
(3.) If the issue still exists, you can ask for after-sales service.
The surface has blemishes.
Contact Coollang after-sales service. The probable cause and solution will be decided on a case by case basis.
Bluetooth is connected but the App doesn’t show any data.
(1.) Check whether the app is hanging or if there is cache failure.
(2.) Re-download the app or use other mobile phones to connect the device to test. If the problem persists, it is probably a hardware issue. Write to Coollang after-sales service at [email ID] with your product ID.
Failed to store data.
Pull to refresh after connecting. If it keeps on refreshing without displaying any data and there is no past data, but there is data in the real-time mode, it is probably a hardware failure.
The sensor doesn’t charge.
(1.) Check if the USB port is damaged.
(2.) Check if the device is soaked in water.
(3.) Find the usage scenarios, when it is unable to get charged( for example， it is placed long-term unused).
(4.) Replace the USB cable to test.
The light is on when charged, and the light is off when power off (hardware failure).
The Sensor LED has weak flash while charging.
It will return to normal in 5 to 10 minutes. If it doesn’t get normal for a long time, it is probably a hardware failure.
The sensor’s standby time is short.
The normal standby time is 4 hours. It will progressively reduce after half a year. If the device is soaked by sweat or rain, the standby time may reduce drastically.
The sensor light is always on.
Long press the restore operation button and insert the reset pin. If the light is still on it is a hardware failure. The reason of full charging is excluded.
The sensor light is off
Excluding charging failure, if the light doesn’t work when USB is connected, it is probably a hardware failure.
The sensor light double flashes.
(1.) Sensor may be low on battery. Please charge and observe.
(2.) Sensor might have program failure. Please restore factory settings.
(3.) Reset the sensor.
If the problem doesn’t get resolved, it is probably a hardware failure.
The sensor fails to start when shaken.
Charge to wake up the sensor, connect it to your phone, and then turn it off by through phone. Try to shake the device to start it. If it still cannot boot up, it is probably a hardware failure. While doing this, please ensure that the sensor is sufficiently charged.
